Fundraising
Fundraising allows Dunbar Elementary School to provide more opportunities for our students. Through fundraising events, online auctions, and rewards programs like eScrip, it’s now easier than ever to make a difference in our school community. Every little bit counts.
Your contribution is important to us, and together we can help Dunbar Elementary School provide a superior education and learning environment for our students.
Moondance
Volunteers Needed for Moondance
Here are some of the things we are looking for help with.
• Preparation (from now until November 13th): Follow up phone calls Picking up donated items
• Day Before, Friday, November 13th: Setting up Transporting donations to the barn
• Day of, Saturday morning/afternoon, November 14th: Picking up appetizers and delivering them to the barn Setting up
• Night of, Saturday late afternoon, evening, November 14th: Helping in the kitchen Helping with check out Bar tending (1 hour shift) Clean up
• Next day, Sunday, morning or early afternoon, November 15th: Clean up

Other Fundraising Opportunities
Unfortunately the schools in California are facing continued budget cuts, and we need all the help we can get to continue a high level of education. There are many ways you can help.
Volunteering
Parents, grandparents, community members, senior citizens, middle school and high school students can be seen at any time during the day assisting in classrooms, planning activities, reading one on one, working in the office and library, generally finding ways to assist our learning community. e-mail Melanie Blake or call at 935-6070 if you wish to volunteer at our school. Artist in Residence Program
If you are an artist and would like to participate in our inclass program please call or e-mail the office.
After School Enrichment Program
We are in the process of increasing our after school program, if you would like to sponsor a class, help out or possibly teach a class, please e-mail the ASEP Coordinator

We are always looking for donations of all kinds. Some donations are tax deductible.
